Ever wonder who is suppose to do what when it comes to the Bridal Party? Well, I’ve got a little breakdown for you today!

Maid of Honor

  • Be the bride’s confidant – provide honest opinion and be helpful
  • plan as well as attend the bridal shower and bachelorette party with the bridesmaids
  • assist and help the bride during rehearsal dinner
  • field messages for the bride and her family if possible
  • assist the bride getting into her dress, help with veil and train
  • prepare a toast
  • provide moral support and be a great listener during the whole process
    • Pays for: her outfit, bridal shower and bachelorette, gift for couple

Best Man

  • help the groom choose his tux and organize fittings
  • attend all pre-wedding festivities (engagement, couple shower, bachelor party, rehearsal dinner)
  • plan the groom’s bachelor party and organize a groomsman gift for the groom
  • prepare a speech
  • always be a good communicator of information
  • help the groom get dressed
  • take charge of the wedding rings
  • make sure the groom has the marriage license with him
    • Pays for: his outfit, bachelor party, gift for couple

Bridesmaids

  • always be ready to help with opinions on dresses, decor, favors, etc
  • help plan as well as attend the bridal shower and bachelorette party with maid/matron of honor
  • always be a good communicator of information
  • assist the bride getting into her dress
  • ask her if she needs anything
  • provide moral support and be a great listener throughout the process
    • Pays for: her outfit, bridal shower and bachelorette, gift for couple

Groomsmen

  • be prepared with your wedding gear
  • attend all pre-wedding festivities
  • help best man plan the groom’s bachelor party
  • coordinate with the best man to prepare a gift for the groom
  • always be a good communicator of information
    • Pays for: his outfit, bachelor party, gift for couple
