I’m officially on maternity leave now for the remaining of the month – it’s pretty nice to be able to schedule blog posts to keep things fresh while I step away to enjoy my family. Before the new year I typically try to make a list of goals for the upcoming year, I’m still working on 2019’s list but for 2018 I set quite a few goals and to be completely honest I didn’t stay focused on them individually – I stayed conscious of my work of the year – meaningful though!

2018 goals:

Self care – started with a massage last week for my sciatic nerve (it was deep tissue – far from relaxing)! Made it to the chiropractor a few times, took time to paint my nails/toenails often and enjoyed coffee dates with friends.

Practice yoga regularly – did not do this – this pregnancy hasn’t been the easiest and I just did not have the energy.

Read a book a month – reading What the most successful people do before breakfast : and two other short guides to achieving more at work and at home currently! – I wish I had achieved this – I have so many books stacked up and found myself falling asleep everytime I tried to read.

Set a budget – started FINANCIAL PEACE UNIVERSITY! – We have this but did not implement a budget yet. My plan for the new year for sure.

Launch something new – oh, something big is coming and we cannot wait to announce it! Launched our Consulting services!

Travel more!! – We didn’t travel as much as we would have liked to but couldn’t be happier that a little bundle of joy will be joining our family soon (if he hasn’t already by the time this publishes)!

Drink more water – done!

Stay meaningful! -my word of the year! YESS!
