Autumnal Bliss: A Stay Camp Elopement Infused with Fall Inspiration

Stay Camp is an off-grid Luxury Camping Experience in Upstate, South Carolina. The property is in a remote countryside setting. Although you will feel like you’re a world away from everything you will be conveniently located just a 10-12 minute drive from everything downtown Spartanburg has to offer! What a hidden gem and the family that owns it is incredible. They sold their house in the city and bought 44 acres to pursue their dreams — absolutely inspiring.

edited – Unfortunately the River Tent (seen in this elopement) experienced the brunt of recent flooding and they are not able to rent this space. Rachel and Alec have the Pinestone which is just as amazing.

The Pinestone

is a luxury 12’x15’ canvas tent just the right size for a couple looking for a romantic getaway, or a small family looking for a peaceful adventure. The tent is completely off-grid so there is no power or unlimited supply of running water. In the winter the tent is heated by a wood burning stove and in the summer it is cooled by an electric water cooled fan. All lights are solar, or battery powered. 2.5 gallons of fresh filtered water is provided inside of the tent for drinking.

StayCamp was built to encourage guests to disconnect with the outside world and connect with nature! Lounge under the forest canopy in a 70 square foot hammock – the perfect place to curl up and read a book, or take a nap!

I discovered Stay Camp through Carly Adalyn Photography. Her and I connected as northerners that had moved to SC recently. Carly is from NJ. She’s a super talented wedding photographer and has a sweet little family. She proposed that we collaborate with Stay Camp — a perfect opportunity to showcase just how special Stay Camp is.

Our inspiration shoot was a fall inspired elopement.

Incorporating elements like fallen leaves, pinecones, branches, and seasonal flowers into your decor. I even foraged for some of the greens on the property. I think the best part (besides all the vendors) was embracing the rich colors of fall with hues like deep reds, oranges, yellows, and earthy tones in the floral design. Fall offers a rich variety of flowers and foliage. You can incorporate unique and seasonal blooms into your bouquet and decorations, adding a touch of autumnal charm to your elopement.

Having an elopement in the fall comes with a variety of perks,

making it a popular choice for couples seeking a unique and romantic experience. Fall is renowned for its stunning natural landscapes. The changing colors of the leaves create a picturesque backdrop with vibrant hues of red, orange, and gold.
