Sweet Coral Love Style Shoot

Back in January I opted to take on a style shoot even while on maternity leave and I am so glad I did. When Seneca from Seneca Ryan Co approached me about collaborating at the Treman Center with Pretty Little Vintage Co it was a no brainer. I love working with all of these wedding professionals. We also had Adirondack Ink and The Cake Shop NY.

The Treman Center, located in Ithaca, New York, is a popular wedding venue known for its beautiful natural surroundings and unique event spaces. The Treman Center is a unique 1800s barn situated on 200 acres of rolling hills, providing a picturesque and natural setting for weddings. The venue features a beautifully restored barn that serves as a primary event space. The rustic charm of the barn creates a warm and inviting atmosphere. Whether you have 10 or 100 guests, our unique event space creates a fantastic backdrop, inspiring gatherings for any purpose. Indoors or outdoors, your event takes center stage, with numerous possibilities to tailor the space to your vision. There are many ways to stage your event with our vast grounds, courtyards, front terrace, tree flanked alley and the 2 large main floors with huge fireplaces. The first floor is all stone opening out onto the spacious Tuscan courtyards with water feature. The second floor has a fantastic dance floor with a Steinway piano, great sound and perfect for a seated dinner.

During the Sweet Coral Love style shoot we utilized the second floor — a perfect space for an intimate ceremony and dining experience. Seneca spear headed this inspiration shoot that I’ve named the Sweet Coral Love, our main focal point was the color coral. A coral-inspired wedding is a vibrant and cheerful theme that draws inspiration from the color coral, which is a warm and lively shade with hints of orange and pink. The coral palette allowed us to work with shades of peach, blush, gold, and white for a balanced and harmonious color palette.

We also incorporated the color palette with signage; with the use of coral-colored stationery for place cards and table numbers. Also included coral and blush elements in signage and furniture throughout the venue. Adirondack Ink created several of the signs on site during the shoot – the signs included “Pour some sugar on me”, table numbers, the seating chart and a few others.

Soft touches of coral and blush paired with a deconstructed arch, a hanging installation and a large guest dining experience created such a beautiful wedding inspiration. We repurposed the arch in the lounge area, something we highly recommend to our couples — repurpose flowers where you can to get the best bang for your buck.

Being that I was on maternity leave still I was able to take the littlest babe with me and my parents – it takes a village y’all! One of my favorite parts of this shoot was the seating chart. The mirrors, the metal grids and flowers/greenery sprinkled throughout. What a unique take on a seating chart.
