Ever wonder what items you should have while getting ready on your wedding day? Well, I’ve got you covered — here is a list of items that I highly recommend you having present:

The Bride’s Dress + Hanger for the Bride’s Dress: Ensure that the bride’s wedding dress is safely hung up on a sturdy, padded hanger to prevent any wrinkles or damage. Having the dress prominently displayed in the bridal suite adds to the excitement and anticipation of the day.

A Copy of the Invitation Suite: Preserve a copy of the wedding invitation suite in the bridal suite as a memento of the special day. This includes the wedding invitation, RSVP card, and any additional inserts. It’s a lovely reminder of the love and commitment shared between the couple.

All the Bride’s Accessories: Gather all the bride’s accessories, including jewelry, veil, hairpieces, and shoes, in one place for easy access during the getting-ready process. Having everything organized ensures that the bride can effortlessly complete her bridal look before walking down the aisle.

Perfume + Makeup: Don’t forget to pack the bride’s favorite perfume and essential makeup products for touch-ups throughout the day. A quick spritz of perfume and a swipe of lipstick can help the bride feel refreshed and confident as she prepares to say “I do.”

All the Wedding Rings: Keep all the wedding rings, including the bride’s engagement ring and both wedding bands, safely stored in the bridal suite until the exchanging of vows. It’s essential to have these precious symbols of love close at hand for the ceremony.

The Bride’s Bouquet: Display the bride’s bouquet in the bridal suite as a stunning floral centerpiece. Not only does it add a beautiful touch to the space, but it also allows the bride to admire her bouquet before carrying it down the aisle.

Device to Play Music: Set up a device to play music in the bridal suite to create a festive and celebratory atmosphere while getting ready. Create a playlist of the bride’s favorite songs or choose soothing melodies to set the mood for the day ahead.

Water, Food + Snacks: Stay hydrated and nourished throughout the morning by providing ample water, food, and snacks in the bridal suite. Consider light and easy-to-eat options like fruit, sandwiches, granola bars, and sparkling water to keep energy levels up.

An Emergency Kit: Prepare an emergency kit stocked with essential items for any last-minute mishaps or emergencies. Include items like safety pins, sewing kit, stain remover, pain relievers, bandaids, and tissues to address any unexpected issues with ease.

Comfortable Seating and Mirrors: Ensure that the bridal suite is equipped with comfortable seating options for the bride and her bridal party to relax and prepare. Additionally, ample mirrors are essential for hair and makeup touch-ups and for the bride to admire her final look before heading to the ceremony.

By having these must-have items present in the bridal suite, you can ensure that the bride and her bridal party are comfortable, prepared, and ready to celebrate the joyous occasion ahead.
